BlueOak Horizontal

Do you want or need a web site? But you always thought it was too hard, too expensive, or you needed a web master.

Well I'm here to tell you NO none of that is true.

Register a domain name and pick a web host provider, most times you will use the same provider for both, or if you have a domain name and or a provider I can put you on the web in complete control of your web site in about 3 hours.

Pick a template from my collection, or show me one you want to use and I can convert it to work with this system.

Can you use Microsoft Word ® ? Then you can use this system to make web pages, it's that easy!

Once it's set up you just login to the Administration panel, go to Content » Pages click on Add New Content and it opens a page that has a box that you use to add content just like a word document, formatting and adding pictures or links are just a click of a button away.

Throughout this site you'll find pages using different templates. Some are the same template with different color schemes, or a different menu and layout. Some of the pages are used to highlight the diversity allowed within this content management system [CMS Made Simple].

Please don't don't be scared by my use of the word 'system' - this is an easy to use, easy to learn process. It's basically software which is installed on a server [a remote computer] which has a user-friendly interface [if you can point-and-click you'll be fine].

All you'll need to do is to login and create your content - it's so easy! If you're a bit more adventurous and you are more inclined to change things around a bit [perhaps you are comfortable with and have some working knowledge of HTML and CSS], then you can make changes to the design and 'look' of your site very easily. Look around I'm sure you will agree this truly is Content Management Made Easy!

This Template has a one column content box, is Strechy but with this many parents in the menu above it only likes to go down to 990px,in Firefox and 1150px in IE, before the last one jumps under the first one.

I've set this menu up for multicolored links if you look at the CSS  you will find one that has all the Links in it with a long list of them commented out, those are class styles, each link has two classes, list and link, using the pages {$node->id} when you first run it with the Links uncommented it will look real strange, you have to look at the page source to find you pages {$node->id} then you can start changing the numbers and colors to your liking.
