Browser WTF
Why is it the people making browsers feel they all have to make theirs render pages differently than the next guys browser?...
I'm getting sick and tired of every browser having to do a page render in some way that isn't the same as the next one, what is with these guys that they think they need to do something special for theirs so you have to hunt the net to find some way to get a page to look the same in every browser out there.
Now Firefox had to go and change how it renders pages different than it used to, I have to go back and change templates CSS to make the page look the same as it used to in Firefox2, why can't somebody smack these guys upside the head and get them to come to some agreement as to how the browser engine is going to work so us poor slobs trying to design a template can just do our job and not spend all day just to get a simple div to render the same on all of them.
I have to run ie6, ie7, Firefox2, Firefox3, Safari for windows, Opera, google Chrome, just to make sure I'm getting the page to look the same in all of them and now I have to figure out how to run some kind of Mac OSX emulator because Safari has more than one way to render a page in each of it's own versions and FF2, FF3 on a mac work different than they do on a pc, I mean what the hell can't they just get them all to work the same.
Sorry I'm just real frustrated right now...
